2024 One Million Bubbles Project: Adopt a Balloon Dog

I made over 230 Balloon Dogs and we raised $310 for Animal Allies! Special shoutout to my Hucklebeary crew for helping handle the donation collection, and a shout out to Chad who got 200 dogs!
Every year since 2020, Balloon Artists from around the world come together for one weekend to help spread joy and kindness in our communities through the One Million Bubbles project. This year Lauralloons is partnering with Hucklebeary to bring you ‘Adopt a Balloon Dog’. From April 25th-28th stop into Hucklebeary during their open hours, a donation in any amount gets you your own balloon dog made by Laural. 100% of the Donations are going to our friends at Animal Allies.

Who: Lauralloons and Hucklebeary are partnering together, 100% of donations are going to Animal Allies
What: Adopt a Balloon Dog, stop into Hucklebeary during their open hours, make a donation in any amount to Animal Allies, and take a balloon dog home!
Where: Balloon Dog Adoption will be happening at Hucklebeary (218 E. Superior Street) cash donations can be made in person, or online at Animal Allies

How: All donations 100% benefit Animal Allies. Cash donations will be accepted in-store at Hucklebeary. Online Donations can be made directly to Animal Allies (just show us a screenshot!), you can also purchase items directly for Animal Allies through their Chewy Wishlist or Amazon Wishlist
Why: We want to spread the joy of balloons and help our community at the same time! It is Get Downtown Week in Duluth, One Million Bubbles is this weekend, and it is Lauralloons’ 8th Anniversary!

One Million Bubbles is a worldwide project by balloon artists to spread joy.

“In 2020 during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, 2200 balloon artists from 81 countries took part in a global campaign to spread love, joy and hope through their art. Whether it was in front yards, public spaces, windows or balconies, thousands of international balloon professionals joined forces to be a source of light in a very dark world.
This campaign of kindness known as “One Million Bubbles” continued on April 23rd and 24th, 2022, we spread the message of concern and care to the world.
In 2021 we got buggy with it! What will we make for this year’s display? You will have to wait and see! If you happen to catch the display April 23rd and 24th make sure to tag Lauralloons in your photos! We would love to see your pictures! Here’s to spreading joy right here in Duluth, MN through balloons!
